The Fine Arts & Communication Department offers many opportunities for personal expression.  Our classes include:

  • Music, both vocal and instrumental
  • Visual arts, 2D and 3D
  • Art History
  • Speech Communication
  • Journalism

With the skills, attitudes and knowledge gained in our classes, you are on your way to becoming a musician, actor, painter, art historian, sculptor, potter, jeweler, teacher, newswriter, or any of the many professions that rely on creativity and discipline.  At Central Oregon Community College, you have choices of over 50 different fine arts courses to meet your needs and a variety of Speech Communication and Journalism courses.  Whether you want to major in visual arts, music, speech communication or simply want to take classes, we have what you need.
